The Madrid players reveal if Madrid would be interested if it meets Barcelona in the Champions League quarterfinals. Madrid to get a place in the Champions League perematfinal after winning 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday (15/3) a 5-2 aggregate lead.
Although Madrid had lost to Barca in the semis in the same competition last season, but Real Madrid defender, Sergio Ramos would not disclose if they avoid Barca in the next round.
"If they get ahead in the competition and we continue to do well we could meet in the finals," he said.
"But if it happens before the final, there would be no problem."
Not just Ramos, Xabi who will miss the first leg quarter-final because of accumulation of the card also stated that Madrid will not shy away from a meeting with Barcelona.
"Seven other teams who qualified deserved to be here. What is interesting is that when drawing, but the quarter will be very interesting, regardless of who our opponent, says Xabi.
