The NextGen Series' inaugural year has seen us drawn in Group Four comprising FC Basel, PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan.
We kick off our participation in the Champions League-style Under-19 tournament away against Basel at the Rankhof Stadium, home to FC Concordia Basel and FC Nordstein Basel, on Wednesday August 17, kick off 5.30pm, before hosting Inter at Brisbane Road two weeks later.
Ticket details, as well as further information on our remaining group matches will follow as soon as we have it confirmed.
Our group fixtures are as follows:
August 17 - Basel (Away)
August 31 - Inter (Home)
September 28 - PSV (Away)
October 19 - PSV (Home)
November 2 - Inter (Aaway)
November 23 - Basel (Home)
Sixteen clubs from across Europe, including Barcelona, Celtic, Liverpool and Marseille have been drawn into four groups of four, playing home and away, with the top two from each advancing to the knockout phase to determine who will be crowned champions in January, 2012.
Sanctioned by UEFA and the FA, the tournament has been established to assist young players in making the transition from youth football to senior level.
