Redknapp confirms Modric will last at Spur

Harry Redknapp has confirmed Luka Modric will stay with Tottenham Hotspur and could appear in the Premier League on Sunday (28/09) versus Manchester City.

Modric is a target of Chelsea since two months ago. Two of Chelsea's bid given to the Spurs always fail. Some sources mention that Chelsea ready to throw a final bid worth 40 million Pounds.

However, Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy insisted that the Croatian midfielder will stay at White Hart Lane, after private talks with the player on Thursday (08/25) yesterday.

Modric did not strengthen the Spurs in three games that have been officially passed the North London club (the two English Premier League and one European). However, Spurs manager, Harry Redknapp, to give a statement about the certainty Modric to get off at the party con Citizen Premier League.

"He (Modric) will definitely play on Sunday (cons City)," said Redknapp.

"I think there was a meeting. Daniel (Levy) just saying the same thing, Modric is not for sale."

"Pastisulit for him but we want him to stay and he will survive. He should get down on Sundays," said Redknapp.

"He could have rebelled and become a problem within the team and if he does then it will be difficult to control."

"If a player wants to rebel, they can do it, but it did not exist in Modric. She will survive and will become a star as he had shown every year."
